The purpose for establishing Solid State Drive Alliance (SSDA) is to promote the SSD technology. SSDA host technical seminars and invite top international expertise to provide the latest information and assist the SSD manufacturers to learn more about the requirements of SSD products from top international companies. Our goal is to create a platform to share SSD related technology and product information from entire eco system.

SSDA @ COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2011

At the Nangang Exhibition Hall, SSDA has successfully completed its another public tradeshow appearance. In addition to each member's own tradeshow booth, members of SSDA have an alternative site to expose their product samples to international buyers at the SSDA pavilion. Within over 20 solid state storage product samples displayed in the pavilion, there were significant numbers of visitors came to look for the first ever SSDA certified products.










 


SSDA @ Embedded Systems Expo(ESEC) - Tokyo, Japan

The Embedded Systems Expo (ESEC) has successfully completed its three days tradeshow from May 11 to13 at Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Hall in Japan.

At the “Test Zone”, the most focused area by industrial experts, SSDA’s first public tradeshow appearance in Japan has delivered out the importance of the compliance program, announced the new test study result and also exhibited some new products from member companies.


SSDA Announces Compliance Program v1.5

With the approval of SSDA Technical and Compliance Committees, SSDA has released a new revision of the SSD Compliance Test Guideline. Following by minor updates of the version 1.4 on Mechanical Test, Performance Test, Reliability and Interoperability Test, the new version of 1.5 has included the test methods and criteria on the highly anticipated "Endurance Test" for the SSDs. As a new addition to the test specification, the "Endurance Test" is drafted to fulfill the minimal requirement of at least 1 year of life in usage without any data lost. [Read More]
